Silver Tower: Knight Questor

The second hero I have painted is the Knight Questor and my ever first Sigmarine model. I wanted to paint one since they were released but so far did not have any.
It has been a very easy and fast paintjob, bronze and metal in most of the figure, then blue on the few areas without it, washes and a thin highlight. Less than 1 hour in total.

Silver Tower: Fyreslayer Doomseeker

This is the first hero for Silver Tower!
I have always liked Dwarfs and this figure is not an exception to that rule. I base coated it with white and painted 80% of it just with flesh wash. Then a few thin layers of orange and yellow for the hair and gold and metal for the weapons and that was basically it. He was painted in about 30 minutes, drying time aside.

Silver Tower: Tzaangors

Here are the last troops I needed to paint to finalize all the non-heroes of the Silver Tower box, the Tzaangors!
Very interesting models and quite detailed. I decided to use all the previous colours I had on the other Tzeentch models, blue, pink and violet. The weapons are metallic as these troops are not daemonic.
They are also fast-painted as the rest of the box, but I believe the end result is good enough to be considered battle-top ready.

Silver Tower: Kairic Acolytes (II)

Here are the two remaining Acolytes. I have painted them using the same techniques but have added a few extra layers on wash on some parts, although I did not really accomplish the effect I was trying to get.

Silver Tower: Kairic Acolytes (I)

For these pseudo-human figures I decided to try out something new. I sprayed them white and applied directly flesh wash on top of the skin areas, after that I brought up the colour with a thin layer of dwarf flesh. The end result was good enough and quite fast to make, so I will be repeating it with similar models.
Most of the other colours are applied in a similar manner, base colour, wash and that's it. The end result is good enough for using them in the game.

Silver Tower: Familiars

The smallest miniatures of the whole set, the familiars are very interesting and weird figures to paint. From the walking fish to the bird sage, they are all unique!
Quite fast to paint as well, painted in 2019.

Silver Tower: Brimstone Horrors

After the Pink and Blue Horrors, I painted their little brothers.
These were extremely fast to paint, just three colours on top of white spray.

Silver Tower: Blue Horrors

After the Pink Horrors, the Blue ones come!
Following the same idea as with the Pink ones, these sculpts are pretty good I must say. I have always played Khorne but I get the feeling that I would love to have a small band of Tzeentch warriors.

Silver Tower: Pink Horrors

These are two of my favourite miniatures of the whole set, the Pink Horrors.
They look fairly simple, but in fact it took me more time than expected to paint them.
As they are daemonic creatures, I have not used any metallic paints for the weapons, that is a simple yet effective way of making them stand out compared to the mortals.
